Brighton Residence

This project is a renovation and addition to a Dutch colonial house in Brighton, MA for a family of five with young children. The primary goal of the project is to provide a new master bedroom, master bathroom and an enlarged kitchen. Secondary goals include providing some additional space for the family to work and play. The design aims to connect the interior of the house to the backyard and to offer a design that can grow with the family with spaces that encourage them to spend time together but also offer moments of individual respite.
